Refunds and cancellations

Last updated 28 October 2026. NilObs is run by Sea N Shore IT Solutions LLP, India, which issues all refunds.

In short: a failed AI answer is refunded in credits automatically. If you were charged and didn't get what you paid for, or were charged twice, we refund you in full. If you change your mind within 7 days and haven't used what you bought, we refund that too.

Failed AI answers

If an AI answer, photo check or grade fails or never arrives, the credits it cost are returned to your wallet automatically. A photo that isn't of a ship, its equipment or a shipboard record is refunded the same way.

Payment problems

If you paid but the credits or plan didn't arrive, or you were charged twice, email us with the date and amount. We'll add what you paid for, or refund the payment in full, usually within 2 working days.

Changing your mind

Cancelling

Plans are paid up front. Unless you chose Renew automatically when buying, they don't renew, so there is nothing to cancel and you'll never be charged again unless you buy more. With auto-renew on, you can turn it off any time under Plans & credits; no further charges are taken and the time already paid for runs to its end. If a renewal was charged after you'd asked us to stop it, or you didn't mean to keep auto-renew and haven't used that renewal's credits, email us within 7 days of the charge and we'll refund it in full. When a plan ends you move to the Free plan and keep your XP, streak and saved work.

How refunds are paid

Refunds go back to the way you paid, through Razorpay. Once we've issued one, banks usually take 5 to 10 working days to show it. Credits from a refunded purchase are removed from your wallet.

Deleting your account

Deleting your account erases its credits and plan. If you have paid credits left that you'd like refunded under this policy, email us before you delete it.

Asking for a refund

Email adityaps700@gmail.com from the address you sign in with, saying what you bought and when.
